Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Glyph ("we," "us") provides a service that connects to your Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising accounts and generates written, designed performance reports for your clients. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who this applies to
- You — the agency or marketer with a Glyph account, and anyone at your organization you invite to use it.
- Visitors to a report link you share, who haven't signed up for Glyph themselves.
It doesn't cover your clients' own customers — the people who saw the ads — since we only receive aggregate performance metrics about them, not anything individually identifying.
What we collect
Account information. Name, email, password (stored securely, never in plain text), company name, and billing contact details.
Ad account data. Once you connect a Meta ad account, we read campaign, ad set, and ad performance metrics — spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and similar — along with basic account and Business Manager identifiers. We request read-only access, and only the specific permissions needed to build your reports.
Information you enter about your clients. What each client sells, their target customer value, and similar context that helps us write accurate reports. This is information about a third party — your client — so you're responsible for having the right to share and store it; see "Your clients' data" below.
Billing information. Handled by our payment processor, Paddle. We never see or store your full card number.
Usage information. Which pages and features you use, device and browser type, and approximate location, so we can keep the product working well.
Anything you send us directly, like support emails.
How we use it
To run the service — authenticate you, pull your ad data, and generate reports. To write the narrative sections of your reports, using AI: the relevant performance figures and the client context you've provided are used to produce that text. We only use this information to generate your reports; it isn't sold or used for anything unrelated. To process billing, through Paddle. To respond when you contact us. To send you service emails (these aren't optional — they're how we tell you about your account) and, only if you opt in, occasional product updates. To keep the product secure and improve it over time.
Who we share it with
- Meta — the source of your ad account data.
- Paddle — our payment processor, which handles your subscription purchase and billing.
- A cloud hosting provider — runs the application and stores data securely.
- An AI writing system — generates the narrative text in your reports, using the data described above, for that purpose only.
- An analytics tool, if you've accepted analytics cookies — see our Cookie Policy.
- An email delivery service — sends account and, where you've opted in, product emails.
We don't sell your data, or your clients' data, to anyone. We don't use Meta-sourced advertising data for anything beyond generating your reports — not for advertising, not for profiling, not shared onward to data brokers.
We'll also disclose information if legally required to, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Glyph, our users, or the public.
Payments
Paddle processes your subscription payment and acts as the merchant for that transaction. We don't handle or store your card details directly. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.
Report links
Each report you create gets a link you choose to share. Anyone with that link can view it without a Glyph account. We log basic access data — view count and timing — so you can see whether your client opened it.
How long we keep things
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active, and for 30 days afterward in case you'd like to reactivate or in case of a billing dispute, then delete it. If you disconnect a Meta ad account or close your account, the associated ad data is deleted within 30 days.
Your clients' data
You confirm that you're authorized to share information about your clients with us, and that doing so is consistent with whatever you've agreed with them. We only use that information to provide your reports.
Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict internal access to what's needed to operate the service, and monitor for unauthorized access.
Where your data is processed
Because the service runs online, your data may be processed in a different country than the one you're in. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure wherever it's handled.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or export it — email us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you'd like us to stop using your information for something specific, other than what's needed to keep your account running, let us know and we'll accommodate it where we can. You can unsubscribe from product emails at any time using the link in every message.
Children
Glyph is a business tool. It's not directed at, and we don't knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and let you know by email if the change is material.
